Breckenridge Rafting

From the Breckenridge/ Summit County area, visitors can experience the best rafting that Colorado has to offer. Our Breckenridge Rafting trips meet in Wolcott, 60 miles west on I-70. Our Breckenridge Colorado River trips meet at our headquarters in Radium, 20 miles southwest of Kremmling in the scenic Colorado River Valley.Breckenridge Rafting

The Colorado River offers a fabulously fun family float, with light rapids, narrow gorges and soaring vistas of the spectacular Gore Range. This Breckenridge Rafting trip is great for beginners or families with children. The rapids are rated easy (Class II and II+) and water conditions are excellent all summer. Even in lighter rapids, we pay close attention to safety. Everyone wears a fitted Coast Guard approved life jacket and a safety talk is given before each departure. Two person inflatable kayaks, known as duckies, are available for our more active and adventurous guests. Full days depart at 900AM and half days leave at 900AM, 100PM, and 400PM. Please plan to arrive at our location in Radium 20 minutes before the departure. Wear shorts or a swimsuit and appropriate footwear (water shoes or sports sandals) is needed. Have dry clothing in the car for after Breckenridge Rafting trip. You will be getting wet! For more information and directions to Radium, please click “Colorado River” on the navigation bar to the left or call 800-826-1081.

Get ready to rumble! The Eagle River has some of the best moderate to advanced whitewater in Colorado. Our BLM Launch site west of Wolcott is 75 minutes west on I-70 from Breckenridge. Our full day departures are at 900AM and our half days depart at 900AM and 100PM. In the spring, the rapids are fast and furious and some vigorous paddling may be required. Wetsuits, helmets and splash jackets are included. This trip is not recommended for kids. Safety is primary, with a skilled guide in each raft and each participant wearing a fitted Coast Guard approved life jacket. A thorough briefing on whitewater safety procedures is given before the rafts hit the water. Under the wetsuit, we recommend that you wear a swimsuit. Remember to have a dry set of clothing in the car for after the trip. For specific information and directions to Wolcott, please click “Eagle River” on the navigation bar to the left or call 800-826-1081.
